Electromagnetic interrupters; contacts. - In induction coil &c. interrupters the co-operating contacts a<1>, a are mounted at the free ends of blade springs, the adjustable contact a being mounted on a spring b which has a tendency to move it away from the vibrating contact a<1>. The adjustment of the relatively fixed contact a is effected by a member whose axis is a.pproximately perpendicular to the line of movement of the adjustable contact such member consisting in Fig. 1 of a screw d with a tapered end against the periphery of which presses a projection c attached to the blade spring b, as in Fig. 2 of an eccentrically-mounted cam disc f secured on a shaft g with operating handle h, the shaft g being located in a bearing in the bracket i.
