Abstract

The trim component comprises a form-stable support 4, padding 5 and a covering element 6 for covering the same, the padding 5 of the trim component being formed by a foam layer which is moulded insitu between the support 4 and the covering element 6. Clips for mounting the trim component on a roof-frame may be incorporated during moulding, a pre-formed element being placed as on an indentation in the form-stable support to prevent the foaming mixture reaching the clips. <IMAGE>
