Abstract

In a fluid-pressure operated anti- skid braking system, operation of a control valve 23 is controlled by a force of which the magnitude is determined by utilisation of the pressure in a memory chamber 5 defined between a pair of relatively movable spaced pistons 3 and 4. The piston 4 carries a head 30 which forms part of the valve 23. The piston 3 is exposed to an operator-controlled pressure from an inlet passage 12, via a skid-responsive valve 16. <IMAGE>
