Abstract

Surface finishing equipment comprises a drill attachment 10 including an elongate member having a belt guide 15 at one end portion and at its other end portion means of attachment to a drill body. Such a drill attachment is arranged to support an endless belt 27 of the surface finishing material, for example emery cloth, to be driven directly or indirectly from the drill chuck or spindle to travel around the belt guide spaced from the drill body. The attachment facilitates surface finishing in restricted spaces inaccessible to conventional grinding, sanding or polishing wheels. <IMAGE>
