Abstract

A distributor for an internal combustion engine containing an electronic control unit, in which a fixed base 28 of a good heat-conducting material is provided in a housing 21 of the distributor, and at least a power transistor 37 contained in the electronic control unit in an electromagnetic contactless ignition system is mounted on the fixed base, thereby improving the heat radiation of the power transistor. <IMAGE>
