Abstract
194,365. Dornig, W. Dec. 5, 1921. Aerials; diplex and multiplex signalling.-An aerial of horizontal loop type, wherein the capacity between the aerial and earth is not utilized, comprises a single loop 1 of a width equal to substantially half the wave length, and with its ends connected to a source of oscillations 3 or to a receiving apparatus. The lcop may be provided with equally distributed turing condensers 2. Waves of different lengths may be transmitted or received simultaneously by providing a separate loop for each wave length and these loops may be arranged concentrically. A directional effect may be obtained on a rectangular aerial, the distance between two opposite sides of which equals half a wave length. In this form, waves of different lengths may be sent out simultaneously from the two pairs of opposite sides.
