11,329. Batten, J. Aug. 5. Foot-arch supports.-To support the arch of the foot and to prevent treading over, the insole b of a boot has secured to it, by means of a serrated spiked plate c, a flexible and preferably elastic band a terminating in a leather tab a', which is eyeleted to be engaged by the lace, or, in the case of a button boot, is furnished with a slit or loop to engage with one of the buttons. Two such bands, or one continuous band, may be arranged to pass round both sides of the foot.
