Abstract

7702. Rundlof, E. A. June 6,1914, [Convention date]. Cylinders receiving Liquid fuel; water, supplying to cylinders.-Air for spraying fuel or water is supplied through a valve such as 3 which is so loaded that it will not open until the air pressure exceeds that in the combustion chamber. As shown, the valve is opened by the air pressure on the shoulder 5, the fuel entering at 2 ; but the valve may open towards the cylinder. The air - pipe may be closed by a cock if it is desired to inject fuel alone.
