Furniture, means to facilitate moving bodily.-A hospital or other bed is provided with means for raising one end from the floor so as to enable it to be moved about, comprising a leg 1 fitted with a castor-wheel 2 and pivoted at 3 so as to turn in the plane of the bedstead end. The leg is locked in the vertical position by means of a spring-actuated bolt 5 engaging a slot 10 in a boss 6 and operated by a handle 11.
