Abstract

5234. British Thomson-Houston Co., and Hutt, J. Feb. 28. Armatures and field magnets.-Spacers for providing for ventilation between laminµ are formed of a piece of metal of channel section secured by tongues formed on a lamina. Fig. 1 shows a form in which the spacers a are secured at each end by tongues b cut in the lamina c. In other forms, the tongues may be passed through slots in the spacer. Fig. 3 shows a form in which the channel is cut away and rests on the teeth.
