Alloys.-Soft solder contains 50-75 parts of lead, 25-50 parts of tin, and 0À01-0À05 parts of phosphorus, with or without a small quantity of antimony. Specific alloys contain 57À5 parts of lead, 42À5 parts of tin, and 0À03 parts of phosphorus, or 56À5 parts of lead, 41À5 parts of tin, 0À02 parts of phosphorus, and 2 parts of antimony.
