Abstract

29,060. Thurot, J. L. T. Dec. 30, 1912, [Convention date]. Spray carburettors.-A single throttle valve controls, so as to bring into action in succession, three nozzles, two of which act as sprayers, the third being constantly flooded to provide a surface carburettor. The throttle has a transverse partition 11 which controls the main sprayer 4<1> and two end ports which control the auxiliary sprayer 4 and the submerged nozzle 4<11>. The air supply to the nozzle 4 is controlled by a screwed sleeve 30, and that to the liquid surrounding the nozzle 4<11> by a screwed bell 13. The nozzle 4 is first brought into action, then the surface apparatus leading to the port 9<1> and finally the main nozzle 4<1>.
