Abstract
26,797. Roberts, W. J. Nov. 21. Pins, dress and like; point-protectors for pins.-Relates to pins which are inserted in the hat with a sheath in which they are afterwards reinserted in the opposite direction, and consists in the employment of a sheath having an enlargement B<2> at one end which projects beyond a limiting-shoulder A<1> on the pin in one position, Fig. 1, and beyond the point of the pin in the other position, Fig. 2. The shoulder may be provided by the head of the pin, as shown, and means, such as the tongues B<3>, are preferably provided for preventing the loss of the pin from the sheath.
