Abstract

16,013. Schliecker, A. H. F. July 11. Bags; purses; satchels &c. -The fabric 10 of a handbag, purse, satchel, &c. is provided with holes through which one or more wires 14 are passed. The wires are held between flanges 31, 34 of the frame, an off-set or a shoulder 35 of the frame parallel to a bridgepiece 32 serving as an abutment against which the wires rest. The parts may be pressed or clamped together. In a modification, the bridge-piece extends over the laridge-piece of the opposite frame of the bag &c. In another modification, tongues formed in the off-set or shoulder are adapted to be bent to engage the wire.
