Bungs. - An expanding plug stopper that is hinged to a cask is provided with a metal plate a having a rectangular hole through which a screw d can slide but not turn. A bottom plate b is fixed to the screw, and a top plate g is rotatable on it so that a washer c can be expanded between the plate a and the plate b. The plate a is hinged, as shown, to the container.
