10,720. Miller, E. L. May 6. Cesspools.-Relates to a system of oloset sanitation, principally for use in the absence of water and sewerage services. The closet 2 is mounted above a tank 3 connected to a cesspool 4 and a sink 1. Solid matters are reduced to liquid form by treatment with chemicals in the tank 3, and are then drawn off by a pipe 22 fitted with a strainer 23.
