2373. Hayes, R. A. Jan. 29. Centrifugal ejector pumps are formed with stationary discharge passages e which give a rotary motion to the plugs of water passing through. For this purpose, helical pieces g may be inserted in the passages or the passages may be formed of rifled tubes, or of internally ribbed tubes suitably twisted.
