Drip-feed apparatus. -Acetylene-generators for lanterns in which water is supplied to the carbide-chamber 20 through an oblique tube 26 passing through the side of the water-chamber 7, and provided with a valve 29 at the bottom are furnished with a substantially U-shaped tube 27 at the lower end of the tube 26 through which the water passes and overflows on to the carbide.
