Radiators.-In radiator of the type that contains water to be heated by the admission of steam, each of the end sections of the radiator is provided with a vertical partition dividing it into a water and a steam chamber communicating at the top with each other and the other sections of the radiator. Figs. 3 and 5 show such a radiator adapted for use with a double pipe system. The end sections 4, 9 are divided by partitions 5 into chambers 6, 7. The chamber 7 of the section 4 is connected to the steaminlet 8, and the chamber 7 of the section 9 to the outlet 11. The chambers 6, 7 communicate at the top as shown, and the chambers 6 communicate in the ordinary way with the interior of the other sections of the radiator. A draining - valve 10 may be provided in the partition 5 of the section 4. A radiator for a single-pipe system may contain only one divided section.
