Abstract

Brackets, adjusting and securing.-Brackets and hooks having a cam-shaped end to grip their supports when in normal position are locked by levers having a roller or wedge forming the locking surface. Fig. 2 shows one form in which the lever f having a roller end e locks the bracket D by preventing its outer end being raised until the lever has first been lifted. A clamping-piece c may be fitted between the bracket and the upright A. Fig. 6 shows a wedge-ended spring-pressed locking- lever e applied to a bat and coat hook. A rod G may be employed to release the lever e. A similar wedge-ended lever e<1> may be used as shown in Fig. 11, to secure a bracket D having an oblique aperture, the edges d<1>, g<1> of which engage the upright A. Brackets and hooks having supporting-portions of other shapes may be similarly secured.
