Abstract

1549. Obergassner, M. Jan. 21, 1911, [Convention date]. Colour photography, screens for.-The colours of a three-colour taking-screen are changed into complementary colours by acids or alkalies for use as a viewing screen. The screen is contained in a gelatine layer on a support the other side of which is sensitized. The negative is taken through the screen, and after developing the negative the screen itself is sensitized, exposed through the negative, and developed in warm water to wash out the unexposed gelatine. The screen is then treated with alkali or acid to change the colours to the complementary colours, the negative is removed, and the screen or plate is transferred to a white surface.
