Abstract
23,195. Dussaud, C. F. Oct. 21, 1910, [Convention date]. Kinematograph apparatus. - To enable shutters to be dispensed with, the current supplying the projecting light is automatically interrupted by a suitable switch during change of picture. One form of switch comprises two metal rings i<1>, k mounted on the shaft f<3> from which the maltese cross f is driven. The ring i<1> is complete and the ring k is broken, presenting an insulating section k<1>; brushes j, j<1> in the lamp circuit bear on these rings. An auxiliary lamp may be used to illuminate the screen during change of picture, and a similar but inversely-acting switch is employed for this lamp.
