Abstract

20,501. Clough, M. Sept. 16. Scissors.-Each loop B of the handle is covered by a hollow ring A of rubber or other suitable material having a slit a on the outside to facilitate its application to the loop and a projection a<2> to encase the shank of the loop for a short distance. The ring may be cut away at a<3> to allow the scissors to close. In a modification, the shank projects through a hole in the ring. Small spring clips may be used to clamp the ring to the handle. The Provisional Specification states that the slit may he formed on the inner periphery of the ring.
