The parts, when drawn out, form a light-tight contact at the edges g, h, and the part e has arm-holes n at the sides and a viewing-opening i. The arm-holes carry sleeves, and are protected by inner hinged flaps o. The opening i is protected by a hinged plate l and fitted with a viewing - frame k. The hinged back f to the part e lies flat when the dark-room is used and keeps the parts extended. The back r of the outer case a is hinged and carries non-actinic windows b. The hinged parts c, d of the case a close the box when collapsed.
