Abstract

977. Harris, H. Jan. 13. Bracelets.-An expanding bracelet comprises a series of engaging links a, b, each hollow link a having strengthening guide-bars e, f forming a guideway g. The two adjacent links b have bars i, k working in slots in the link a and provided with collars m, n which slide in the guideway g, the bars i, k being at right-angles to the bars e, f. The links are normally held closed by springs l acting between the bars i, k and the ends of the link a; in this position, the links b embrace the link a. Fig. 4 shows links a, b of a more elaborate design.
