Abstract

25,299. Mills, T. Oct. 31. Bottles, non-refillable.-Relates to bottles fitted with stoppers which are inserted in the bottle in the process of manufacture, and are provided with a wire or other projection, by means of which the stopper is pulled upwards and wedged in the neck to close the bottle, and which fall to the bottom when the bottle is opened. The bottle neck has in turned flanges 4, Fig. 2, between which a washer 5 is placed. The lower flange may be dispensed with. In a modification the stopper 1, Fig. 7, is screwed into a disk 11 and cut off flush with the disk, the washer 5 being placed at the bottom end of the stopper.
