Abstract
30,168. Pauly, A. A. Dec. 24. Wheeled racks &c.-In drying or curing ovens for concrete blocks &c. in which the articles are supported by carriers 21 running on tracks 19, the tracks are provided with extensible or drop ends 20 which can be swung down to permit the transference of the carriers from one track to another by means of hoists 23, 24. Concrete blocks received from a moulding-apparatus 14 are raised by the hoist 23 to the tracks 19 and pushed successively into the oven 18, and, after passing therethrough, the blocks are removed and the empty carriers lowered on to a return track 27. The ovens may be heated by steampipes in the floor.
