Abstract

Tyres, pneumatic. - In pneumatic tyres having a separate tread, the tread is moulded to a smaller radius of curvature than that which it assumes when in position on the tyre. The cover B may be moulded with projections C, against which the edges of the tread F bear, so as to compress the centre of the tread. The tread may be formed with a projection or recess to co-act with a recess or projection on the cover.
