Incandescent gas lamps.-The flue A, Fig. 1, of an inverted lamp surrounds the air chamber G enclosing the upper part E of the burner tube on all sides except for a narrow space H which extends downwards from the top of the flue. In multiburner lamps, the flues A, Fig. 8, surrounding the burners are preferably detachably secured to lugs J formed by bending-up the metal on the plate I to allow projections on removable chimneys F to pass. According to the Provisional Specification, air is supplied to the chamber G by fans or the like operated by a wheel or vane driven by the combustion products.
