Actuating valves.-The hot-water supply through a pipe B is controlled by the pressure of cold water in a pipe A, e.g. in shampoo &c. fittings, through the medium of diaphragms C, K, spindle. D, J, and a lift valve H. The device is applicable for use with any liquid or with steam, and, according to the Provisional Specification, may be applied to cut off the cold-water supply.
