5272. Bodin, W. H. March 14. Baths; lavatory basins; sinks. - A lavatory basin 2, Fig. 1, is supported at the foot-end of a bath 1, the waste pipe 4 being connected to the overflow 5 of the bath. A supply valve for hot and cold water is secured to the basin and fitted with a swivel delivery bend 14. In Fig. 3 is shown a sink or basin 2 placed at the head of the bath. The body of the bath is covered by plates 16,17, the edges of which are turned over into gutters 19 at the sides, uniting in a common outlet 25. When the bath is in use, the basin 2 and plate 17 are slid along the top of the bath and the edge of the gutters respectively to the foot-end above the plate 16.
