Each half a of the bearing is provided with a pin b and a spherical surface c, fitting a corresponding recess and surface on the spindle d, which can rotate and slide in the guide e on the bracket f. The guides and spindles have inclined engaging surfaces g, i, so arranged that the vertical position of the bearing is adjusted by rotating the spindles, which are locked by setscrews k. The application to a pedestal bearing is also described in the Specification.
