Harrows.-A harrow, which is constructed so that the main bars can be folded parallel to one another, consists of side-bars furnished with teeth and pivotally connected to a draw-bar and to tiebars, so that the width of the whole implement and of the spaces between the paths of the teeth may be adjusted. The side-bars 2, 3, Fig. 1, are pivoted on arms 12 connected with the draw-bar 1, and the tie-bars 4, 5 are pivoted to a movable piece 8 and to brackets 9 bent at their outer ends and bolted to the side-bars. The harrow is adjusted or folded by sliding the piece 8 along the bar. 1, the pin 7 being passed through one of the perforations 6. The arms 12 are made sufficiently long to allow of the bars 4, 5 being folded between the bars 2, 3 and the bar 1. Preferably a tooth is fixed to the draw-bar 1, and teeth to the whole or a part of the tie-bars 4, 5. The pivot bolts pass through bushes in the wooden bars. The bushes may consist of pieces of gas-pipe. The bars may be formed of other material such as angle-iron, and the curved or straight teeth may be passed through holes in them and clamped in position.
