In order to prevent vibrations from reaching the incandescent burner of a street or other lamp, a piece D of rub. ber &c. is placed in the coupling-piece by means of which the burner G is attached to the gas pipe F. The coupling- piece consists of a casing A formed with a screw nipple B and provided with an internal tube C over which the rubber D is placed. The upper end of the tube C rests against a rubber or other washer E.
