13,591. Holden, J., and Woods, S., [trading as Holden & Co., J.]. June 2. Compound and embossed paper for covering walls and forming socks for slippers, boots, &c. Consists in combining the sponge or felt paper described in Specification No. 2485, A.D. 1888, or a like paper, with ordinary white or coloured paper on the paper machine. The felt paper B as it leaves the drying-cylinders A is combined with the ordinary paper from a roll H, the two webs being passed together through a size trough J, and then over heated calender rollers D to a receiving-roll E. The completed paper may be embossed in any suitable manner.
