Abstract

184,097. Stevenson, A. Oct. 14, 1921. Lids; corner joints.-A box or container for use in transporting live stock is formed of stout paper, cardboard, &c., and has a portion of one side 1 hinged to form a lid 2, the opening being restricted by providing the sides of the box with inwardly turned-over portions 3 which assist in preventing the escape of the contents. The box has dished ends 4 to increase its strength and may be provided with a perch 9.
