Abstract
182,293. Tracy, E. C. May 28, 1921. Sockets and plugs for wood-screws.-To secure blocks, pateras, and other wall fittings to lath- and-plaster walls, a bar 1, Fig. 3, pivotally connected to a pair of flexible strips 2 is turned to lie flat thereon and is inserted through a small hole in the wall and manipulated so that it lies across the back of the hole. The strips 2 are then bent over the edge and the fitting 7a, Fig. 4, is secured by screwing a wood-screw into the bar or by a screw 8 engaging a hole in the bar.
