Locking nuts.-In a nut lock of the type in which the nut is provided with a spring- pressed pawl which engages longitudinal grooves in the bolt, the pawl 3 is released by pressing a ball 8 which projects from a face of the nut, and is accommodated in a recess therein. The pawl engages parallel rows of indentations formed at the base of the thread of the bolt.
