Locks, revolving-barrel; doublebolt fastenings.-A pair of bolts a, a' having racks are operated by a pinion b which has a cross-slot b' engaged by the flat connecting- bar c of the pin tumbler lock R which turns the pinion to operate the bolts. The lock R mav be situated in the centre of the door, in which case the bolts a, a' are of equal length, or it may be situated nearer either edge, the bolts then being of unequal length.
