Abstract

178,019. Cheney, C. W. May 21, 1921. Catches, spring.- Relates to a boxfastener having an horizontal strip c, fitting into a recess x<2> in the bottom of the box, which strip acts as a spring for the catch a<2>. A push a<3> when hand operated deforms the strip c and so releases the catch. Two ears c<4>, projecting over the edges of the recess, prevent the extremity c<2> of the strip from cutting into the bottom of the box.
