Abstract
177,607. Koehl, K. Dec. 31, 1920. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Magazine hand cameras for roll films with connected action between shutter and changing mechanism.-The film is fed by a claw on a slide - operated by cords and pulleys, and the shutter is operated by a rotary cam actuated during the return movement of the slide. In the construction shown, the slide 8 carrying a claw 10 is reciprocated on a rail 9 by cords wound on pulleys 3, 12. The feeding-pulley 3 is mounted on a shaft 2 and is rotated by ratchet gear when the shaft is rotated by an external handle 4. The return pulley 12 is rotated by a spring 13, Fig. 1. A rotary cam 16, of the kind described in Specification 176,557, is loosely mounted on the shaft 2 and, during the return movement, is coupled to the pulley 3 by ratchet gear. The cam 16 operates the shutter 18, Fig. 4, through a cranked lever 17. A ratchet-wheel 15 and pawl 20 prevent retrograde rotation of the cam.
