Abstract

175,940. Petter, G. B. Dec. 21, 1920. Joint-making packing.-A packing for a crank casing, especially applicable for a two-stroke internal-combustion engine, consists of a ring 5 of leather &c., which is secured to the bearing bush 2 and packs the joint both between the bush and the crank casing and between the bush and the shoulder 4 on the crank-shaft. The ring 5 is secured by studs 6 or otherwise.
