Packing tiles, jars, &c. - A knock-down crate for rectangular goods, e.g. tiles, is formed of sections each of which, when not in use as a crate, forms a tray and each section consisting of a pair of longitudinal rabbeted battens A connected by cross-pieces or ends C. The sections are secured together with the goods between them by a bolt D. For circular or other than square goods, e.g. jars, the tra.ys are formed of longitudinal battens connected by cross-pieces cut at an angle to pitch the battens suitably. Three or more of these angular trays are secured together by lacing.
