Abstract

173,373. Moorhouse, P. F., and Moorhouse, J. V. Oct. 21, 1920. Spring surfaces.-A spring mattress, seat, &c. has its frame a formed with an inward bevel on its upper surface and a groove on its under surface, the flat strips f supporting the helical springs h being secured in these grooves by staples. The helical springs h are connected at their small lower ends to the strips f at their points of intersections. The square upper ends of the helical springs h are arranged in diamond patterns and are connected together and to the frame.
