Abstract

172,883. Smith, W. H. Sept. 13, 1920. Walls.-A templet for applying mortar to hollow blocks, such as are described in Specification 140,312, comprises a series of connected covers A, C for closing the apertures in the blocks, and openings corresponding to the solid portions of the blocks. The templet has flanged sides D and positioning-pegs G. The thickness of the covers is equal to that desired for the mortar joint. The mortar is applied to the templet and then scraped down to the level of the top surface.
