Abstract
Stable dry vat-preparations are obtained by evaporating to dryness (preferably in vacuo) mixtures of alkali indigo-white with alkali leuco-compounds of quinone vat dyestuffs, with or without agglutinants or diluents. The quinone vat dyestuffs may be either the sulphurized arylidohalogenquinones described in Specifications 19599/12 and 22528/13, or the non-sulphurized arylidequinones described in Specification 876/11. According to examples, mixtures of the leuco compounds with caustic soda lye, hydrosulphite, and molasses or sulphite-cellulose pitch, are evaporated.ALSO:Stable dry vat-preparations are obtained by evaporating to dryness, preferably in vacuo, mixtures of alkali indigo-white with alkali lenco-compounds of quinone vat dyestuffs, with or without agglutinants or diluents. The quinone vat dyestuffs may be either the sulphurized arylidohalogenquinones described in Specifications 19599/12 and 22528/13, [both in Class 2 (iii), Dyes &c.], or the non-sulphurized arylidoquinones described in Specification 876/11. According to examples, mixtures of the lenco compounds with caustic soda lye. Hydrosulphite, and molasses or sulphite-cellulose pitch, are evaporated. The products dissolve easily in water and dye wool black, greenish-blue, green &c. tints.
