Counting-apparatus; numeral-bearing elements. -The numeral wheels 3, 4, 5 are of light construction, for example of celluloid, and are actuated through driving-discs 3<a>, 4<a>, 5<a> secured thereto. Transfer mechanism.-Carry-over is effected by a tooth 10 carried by a spring 9 secured to the lower wheel. A cam-disc 6 slidably but non- rotatably mounted on the flatted spindle 11 holds the tooth off the driving-disc of the next higher wheel except at transfer when the cut-away part 6<a> allows the tooth to engage one of the notches 17. Zeorizing-mechanism.-The spindle 11 has a bearing at one end in the first numeral wheel 2 and at the other in a slidable knob 12 enclosing a spring 15. In order to zeroize, the knob is pushed in to disengage a disc 13 carried by it from a pin 14 on the casing and is then rotated backwards. The numeral wheels being in frictional contact under the action of a spring 16 with the cam discs 6, the rotation of the latter drags the numeral wheels back to zero position as determined by contact of teeth 19 with blade springs 18.
