Vaporizing by air currents and the like; vapours, delivering.-Apparatus for vaporizing medicaments by the use of dry steam and delivering them to the atmosphere for inhalation, fumigating, &c. comprises a steam-generator 3 which is filled with water from a reservoir 2 by connecting the pipe 4 to a source of pressure, the generator 3 being heated by a heater 20 supplied from a reservoir 25 with liquid fuel such as gasolene. Steam passes through a condensing-chamber 12, from which condensed water is led off by a pipe 18 and, it is stated, the steam which passes to a second condensing chamber 13 where it comes into contact with. porous material saturated with the medicament is comparatively dry. Vaporization of the medicament occurs, the vapours being discharged to the atmosphere through a nozzle 16. A reservoir 17 for the medicament is provided.
