Bedsteads convertible into scats; rests, arm.-A chair convertible into a bed, of the kind having side arms 4, an extensible leg-rest section 8, and an adjustable back 1, is provided with a rack or skeleton tray 13 beneath the seat, to accommodate the leg-rest cushion, or the box-like structure 28 used in connection with the leg-rest, and and bed-clothes. The arm-rests are made so that they may be turned down, by providing hinges in the supports 18, the supports being kept rigid when the arm-rests are in use by the device shown in Fig. 3.
