Abstract

164,946. Ryeland, A. E., and Ferguson, C. May 12, 1920. Earth - continuity couplings. - Metallic tubing in electric wiring installations is bonded by means of a strip of metal having clips 6, 7 adapted to be secured to adjacent sections of the tubing. The strip may be in twc parts 10, 11 detachably secured together as by bolts and nuts 13 and each part may have a number of holes 12 to facilitate adjustment. A number of strips 18, 19, 20 each having a clip or clips may be connected by a metal bridge piece 23 as in Fig. 3. The clips are integral with or permanently attached to the strips.
